١١٦ - محمد بن سليمان بن محمد بن سليمان أبو سهل الصعلوكى. الإمام صاحب أبى إسحاق المروزى. ولد سنة ست وتسعين ومائتين، ومات سنة تسع وستين وثلثماثة، درس بنيسابور نيِّفًا وثلاثين سنة، ودفن بالمجلس الذى كان يدرس فيه وصلى عليه ابنه أبو الطيب، ومن كلامه التصوف الإعراض عن الأعراض وقال: من قال لشيخه: لِمَ لا يفلح أبدًا. ومن شعره: "أنام على سَهْوٍ وتبكى الحمائمُ ... وليس لها جُرْمٌ ومِنى الجرائمُ كذبت وبيت اللَّه لو كنت عاقلًا ... لما سبقتنى بالبكاء الحمائمُ"
