٧٠ - أحمد بن الحسين بن مهران أبو بكر. الزاهد من أهل نيسابور، سمع ابن خزيمة وغيره، وحدث بانتقاء الحاكم عليه، وكان رفيع المنزلة في وقته، مصنفا مجيدًا في أصناف علمه. ونقل الأستاذ إسماعيل الضرير في تفسيره أنَّ اختيار الشافعى في سجود التلاوة ما ذكره أبو بكر بن مهران في كتابه "سجود القرآن" وهو ﴿سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنْ كَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولًا﴾ (١). له كتاب "الغاية في القرآن" و"الشامل" وهو الكبير. قال الحاكم: كان إمام عصره في القراءات وأعبد من رأيناه، وكان مجاب الدعوة. مات في شوال سنة إحدى وثلاثين وثلثمائة عن ست وثمانين سنة.
