٦١ - محمد بن المفضل أبو الطيب بن سلمة البغدادى. تفقه على ابن سريج، وهو من أصحاب الوجوه، مات شابًا سنة ثمان وثلثمائة، ومن مفرداته: تكفير تارك الصلاة، وأنَّ الولى إذا أذن للسفيه في عقد النكاح لم يصح كما لوأذن للصبى، ووالده المفضل له مصنفات في الغريب وحدث عن عمر بن شبة وغيره، وجدُّه سلمة بن عاصم تلميذ الفراء وشيخ ثعلب، وقد أكثر ثعلب من النقل عنه.
