٥١ - على بن الحسين بن حرب قاضى مصر أبو عبيد بن حربويه. كان يذهب أولًا إلى قول أبى ثور وبه تخرج، وكان يورث ذوى الأرحام، وترك قضاء مصر بعد أن مكث به مدة طويلة، وكانت الخلفاء تعظمه والأمراء تأتى إليه،وذهب إلى بغداد فأقام بها مات سنة تسع عشرة وثلثمائة وصلى عليه الإصطخرى. ومن مفرداته: أنه جوز لمن عليه كفارة الظهار أن يصوم رمضان بنية رمضان وعن الكفارة ويصوم معه شهرًا آخر، كرر الرافعى النقل عنه في آخر التيمم وغيره.
