    ١٠٤٧ - سعد بن إبرهيم (١) قال محمد بن إدريس الشافعى: سمعت مالك بن أنس يقول: قدم غيلان المدينة فتكلم هو وربيعة، وحضرهما سعد بن إبراهيم، والصلت بن زيد حليف قريش، فلما تفرقوا قبل سعد بن إبراهيم مقالة غيلان وصوبها، وقبل الصلت مقالة ربيعة. قال المخرمى: قلت لأحمد بن حنبل: مالك لا تروى عن سعد؟ فقال: سعد خير من مالك، سعد لا يسئل عنه.
