داود بن الهيثم بن إسحاق البهلوان التّنوخيّ الأنباري (٥). أحد أصحاب ابن السّكّيت، وأبي العباس ثعلب. مات سنة ستّ عشرة وثلاث مائة عن ثمان وثمانين سنة. وكان نحويّا لغويّا عروضيّا، صنّف كتابا (٦) في النّحو على مذهب الكوفيّين. وله كتاب كبير في خلق الإنسان.
