إسحاق بن أحمد بن شيث بن الحكم الأديب، أبو نصر البخاريّ الصفّار (٤). ذكره تاج الإسلام أبو سعد ابن السّمعانيّ وقال: كان من أفراد الزمان في علم العربيّة والمعرفة بدقائقها الخفيّة، وكان فقيها. ورد بغداد، وخرج إلى الحجاز، وسكن الطائف، وبها كانت وفاته. وله من التصانيف: كتاب المدخل إلى سيبويه، وكتاب المدخل الصّغير في النّحو، وكتاب الردّ على حمزة في حدوث التصحيف. ومات في سنة خمس وأربع مائة.
