محمد بن عبد الله بن محمد بن صالح الأبهريّ، أبو بكر (٣). مولده بأبهر من أرض الجبل في سنة سبع وثمانين ومائتين. كان من أعيان الفقهاء المالكية، له من الكتب: كتاب شرح كتاب ابن عبد الحكم الكبير، وكتاب مختصره (٤)، وكتاب الردّ على المزنيّ في ثلاثين مسألة، وكتاب أصول الفقه، وكتاب فضل المدينة على مكة. وكانت وفاته في يوم السبت سادس شوّال من سنة خمس وسبعين وثلاث مائة.
