محمد بن عمر الصّيمريّ، أبو عبد الله (٤). أحد معتزلة البصرة، وهو تلميذ أبي عليّ الجبّائي، وإليه انتهت رياسةالمعتزلة بعد وفاة الجبّائي. وله من الكتب: كتاب المسائل والجوابات (١)، وكتاب نقض كتاب البلخيّ المعروف بكتاب النهاية في الأصلح. /٢٧/ محمد بن عمر الباهليّ، أبو عمر (٢)، من أهل البصرة. كان عارفا بصناعة الكلام. وله من الكتب: كتاب الأصول في التوحيد، وكتاب إعجاز القرآن، وكتاب التوحيد مفرد عن الأصول.
