محمد بن سلامة بن جعفر بن عليّ بن حكمون، أبو عبد الله القاضي (١). ذكره أبو نصر ابن ماكولا في كتاب الإكمال (٢)، وقال: كان فقيها شافعيّا متفنّنا في عدّة علوم. وهو مصنّف كتاب الشّهاب (٣) في الحديث، وله كتاب مناقب الشافعيّ وأخباره، وكتاب الإنباء عن الأنبياء (٤)، وكتاب تواريخ الخلفاء مختصر (٥). ولي قضاء مصر إلى أن مات في ذي الحجة سنة أربع وخمسين وأربع مائة (٦).
