محمد بن آدم الهرويّ، أبو المظفّر (٤). كان إماما في علوم الأدب والمعاني، شرح الأبيات والألفاظ والأمثال وغرائب التفسير، ومن تأمّل فوائده في كتاب شرح الحماسة (٥)، وكتاب شرح الإيضاح (٦)، وكتاب شرح إصلاح المنطق (٧)، وكتاب شرح أمثال أبي عبيد (٨)، وكتاب شرح ديوان المتنبّي (٩)، اعترف له بالفضل.توفّي سنة أربع عشرة وأربع مائة، ودفن في مقبرة الحسين بقرب قبر أبي العباس السّراج.
