محمَّد بن علي، أبو الحسين الميداني. هومحمَّد بن علي العدل كما في ترجمة شيخه الحسن بن الفضل النَّيْسابُوري، من "النبلاء" (١٣/ ٤١٤)، ومحمد بن علي العدل هو: محمَّد بن الحسن بن علي بن بكر بن هانئ، أبو الحسن العدل، تقدم،والميداني: نسبة إلى ميدان زياد بنيسابور، وقد ظُن أنه غير ابن هانئ فبُيّض له في "رجال الحاكم" (٢/ ٢٦٦)، وفي "تهذيبه" برقم (١٢٤١)، لم نقف على ترجمته. وترجم لابن هانئ، وهما واحد. وكذا فرق بينهما صاحب كتاب "الإِمام الحاكم النَّيْسابُوري" ص (٢٥٦)، فترجم لابن هانئ وقال في الميداني: لم أهتد إليه. والله الموفق.
