محمَّد بن عبد الله بن أحمد، الحفيد. كذا في "المستدرك" (١/ ٢٤٦) و"إتحاف المهرة" (٥/ ٣٩٠)، وفي "السنن الكبرى" للبيهقي (١/ ١٠٠): أبو بكر محمَّد بن عبد الله بن أحمد الحفيد. وفي "تاريخ دمشق" (٢٦/ ٢٤٥) ترجمته شيخه العباس بن حمزة النَّيْسابُوري: روى عنه: ... وحفيده أبو بكر محمَّد بن عبد الله بن أحمد. وفي "حاشية المستدرك" و"رجال الحاكم" صوابه: محمَّد بن عبد الله بن محمَّد. قلت: يأتي -إن شاء الله تعالى- في: محمَّد بن عبد الله بن محمَّد بن يوسف.
