    محمَّد بن الحسن، الشامي. كذا في "المستدرك" (٤/ ١٨٦/ ٧٠١٧): أخبرني أبو النضر الفقيه ومحمد بن الحسن الشامي قالا ثنا الحسن بن حماد الكوفي. وفي أصل "إتحاف المهرة" (٦/ ٣٦١/ ٦٦٤٣): أخبرني أبو النضر الفقيه، ثنا محمَّد بن الحسن الشامي ثنا الحسن بن حماد الكوفي. قال مقيده -عفا الله عنه-: وبهذا يتضح أن محمَّد بن الحسن الشامي ليس بشيخ للحاكم، وإنما شيخ شيخه، والله أعلم.
