[٦١٨] علي بن عبد الله بن سليمان بن مطر، أبو عبد الله، العطار صاحب الحكيمي، البَغْدادي. حدَّث عن: علي بن حرب الموصلي، وعباس الدوري، وجعفر بن أبي عثمان الطيالسي وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو عبد الله الحاكم في "مستدركه" -وذكر أنه حدثه ببغداد-وعبيد الله بن عثمان بن يحيى الدقَّاق، وأبو القاسم بن الثلاج -وذكر أنه حدثهم في سنة إحدى وأربعين وثلاثمائة في شارع عبد الصمد-. قال الذهبي: شيخ بغدادي. قلت: [مستور]. "المستدرك" (١/ ١٨٢/ ٣٧٧)، "تاريخ بغداد" (١٢/ ٥)، "تاريخ الإِسلام" (٢٥/ ٢٤٦).
