    [٣٧٦] سعيد بن محمد، أبو أحمد، المطوعي، النَّسَوِي، الفقيه الشافعي. سمع: أبا حامد الشرقي، وجماعة، وتفقه ببغداد على: أبي علي بن أبى هريرة. وعنه: أبو عبد الله الحاكم، وغيره. قال الذهبي: رئيس نسا، وكان بطلًا شجاعًا، كبير القدر، غزير الفضل. وقال السبكي: كان من أعيان أبي علي بن أبي هريرة، تفقه عليه ببغداد. توفي سنة خمس وسبعين وثلاثمائة. قلت: [صدوق فقيه فاضل نبيل].
