    [٢٢١] أحمد بن يعقوب بن ناصح أبو بكر الأَدِيْب النَّحْوي، الأصْبَهانى، نزيل نَيْسابُور. سمع بأصبهان: محمَّد بن يحيى بن مندة الأصبهاني، وأقرانه. وعنه: أبو عبد الله الحاكم ووصفه بالأديب. وقال في "تاريخه": هو نزيل نيسابور، ومات بها قبل الخمسين، وبعد الأربعين وثلاثمائة، ووصفه ياقوت بالنحوي -أيضًا-، وقال: كتب عنه الحاكم، وأسند إليه في كتابه حديثين. قلت: [صدوق] ولو كان فيه ما يُطْعن فيه لأجله لذكروه."مختصر تاريخ نيسابور" (٣٩/ ب)، "معجم الأدباء" (٥/ ١٥٣)، "الوافي بالوفيات" (٨/ ٢٧٦)، "بغية الوعاة" (١/ ٤٠٠).
