    [١٣١] أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن حيان، أبو الفضل، الفُوْرُسي، النَّيسَابُوري. سمع: أبا عبد الله البُوْشَنْجي، وغيره. وعنه: أبو عبد الله الحاكم، ووصفه بالعابد. وقال في "تاريخه": أبو الفضل بن فُوْرس أخو أبي الطيب الحاكم كان من الزهاد، سمع أبا عبد الله البُوْشَنْجي وغيره، بلغني أنه توفي يوم الفطر من سنة سبع وثلاثين وثلاثمائة.قلت: [صدوق عابد].
