    ٥٠٦ - محمد بن إبراهيم السبتي (٢). نزيل قوص أبو الطيب، قال السيوطي: كان من أوحد العلماء العاملين فقيهًا مالكيًا متفننًا في علوم متورعًا، أخذ عنه أبو حيان وغيره، مات سنة خمس وتسعين وستمائة. قال الكمال الأُدفُوي في "الطالع السعيد" بعد ذكره ما تقدم: حكى لنا صاحبنا العدل ناصر الدين محمود بن العماد أنه كان يجوز بالمكتب في يوم مولد النبي ﷺ فيقول: يا فقيه، هذا يوم سرور اصرف الصبيان فيصرفنا، قال السيوطي: وهذا منه دليل على تقريره وعدم إنكاره.
