٤٩٤ - محمد بن أحمد بن عيسى عرف بابن الطير (٣). قرأ بتونس ثم رحل للشرق وحج ولقي ناسًا ورجع لافريقية وكان عالمًا بالفقه وأصوله مع رياسة ونزاهة. أكره على قضاء بجاية ثم عزل ولما وصَلَهُ عَزْلُه سجد للَّه شكرًا اختصر كتاب المستصفى اختصارًا حسنًا. ذكره شيخنا أبو محمد بن عبادة. صح من عنوان الدراية.
