٤٨٨ - محمد بن مسلم بن محمد بن أبي بكر القرشي الصقلي المازري (١). سكن الاسكندرية، قال القاضي عياض في الغنية: أخذ عن شيوخ صقلية، سمع الحديث من أبي بكر الطرطوشي ودرس الكلام والأصول على أبي محمد الحنفي والنحو على أبي القاسم بن القطاع وأبي حفص السوسي، وغلب عليه الكلام والتحقيق وتقدم فيه تقدمًا برز على أهل وقته فيه، وصنف فيه تصانيف قوية كبارًا ككتاب البيان لشرح البرهان وكتاب تأييد التمهيد وتقييد التجريد وكتاب المهاد في شرح الإرشاد، ورحل إليه الناس في هذا الشأن وناظر الفرق، وكتب إليّ من مصر يجيزني تآليفه، وعمّر فكانت وفاته (٢)، صح منه.
