٤٨٧ - محمد بن عبد اللَّه البغدادي أبو الطاهر (٢). قال في العبر: كان مالكي المذهب فصيحًا مفوهًا شاعرًا اخباريًا حاضر الجواب عزير الحفظ، ولي قضاء واسط ثم قضاء بعض بغداد، ثم قضاء دمشق ثم قضاء الديار المصرية واستناب على دمشق، حدّث عن بشر بن موسى وأبي مسلم الجي وطبقتهما. توفي سنة سبع وستين وثلاثمائة عن قرب من ستين، قال ابن ماكولا: كان يذهب إلى قول مالك وربما اختار، وكان متفننًا في علوم، له تصانيف- اهـ.
