٤٤٩ - علي بن أبي بكر بن عثمان المصمودي السكتي قاضي مراكش. فقيه نوازلي فرضي نحوي، قال المنجور: فصيح يحفظ النقول في درسه من تفسير وفقه ونحو وغيره، دأب على التدريس والمطالعة لا يمل ذاكرًا للنوازل بحاثًا عنها استنسخ نوازل الونشريسي وهو أول من أخرجها بعد اللتيا والتي، شرح مختصر خليل إلى النكاح، كان متواضعًا منصفًا يطلب العلم أين كان. توفي شهيدًا آخر أربع وستين ولم يكمل ستين، أخذ عن اليسيتني- اهـ. زاد بعض أصحابنا وعن أبي مجبر وغيره: رحل وحج ودرّس بمراكش فقهًا وأصولًا ونحوًا وتفسيرًا- اهـ.
