٣٨٢ - عمر بن أبي بكر بن محمد بن حريز، تصغير حرز أخو قاضي القضاة الحسام بن حريز (١). قرأ الفقه على الزين عبادة والشيخ طاهر النويري، ولد سنة تسعة عشر وثمانمائة وصار في قضاء أخيه يكتب على الفتوى بحيث ذكرت فضيلته واستحضاره الفروع مع الديانة والإعانة والتصلب في دينه. استقر في القضاء بعد موت أخيه في شعبان سنة ثلاث وسبعين وثمانمائة فشكرت سيرته وحكم في قضايا وبرز في مواطن جبن غيره فيها، وأعرض عن تدريس الشيخونية فاستقر فيها لمحي بن تقي وعن تدريس جامع طولون فاستقر فيها النور التنسي ثم عزل سادس صفر سنة سبع وثمانين وتولى البرهان اللقاني، وتوفي في جمادى الأولى سنة اثنين وتسعين وثمانمائة. صح من السخاوي.
