٣٢٣ - عبد العزيز بن محمد بن موسى الجاناتي الفاسي. من أعرف الناس بالتهذيب، حسن الالقاء للمسائل، لا يحسن العربية، جلس مجلس الشيخ أبي الحسن الصغير بعد موته فقريء قول المدونة: والدجاج والأوز المخلاة وغيرها فقسم تقسيمًا حسنًا وتكلم على المياه كلامًا حسنًا، وذكر أقوال العلماء ولا فرغ كأنه أعجب بنفسه وقال انظر هل يقال الدجاج أو الجداد أفصح لأنها لغة القرآن قال تعالى: ﴿جُدَدٌ بِيضٌ وَحُمْرٌ﴾ فضحك أهل المجلس وهم ينيفون على أزيد من أربعمائة فقيه فيهم مائة متعمم، وطارت سقطته في البلاد. ولد في حدود سنة خمس وتسعين وستمائة، وتوفي عام ستة وأربعين وسبعمائة. صح من خط بعض أصحابنا.
