١١٩ - أحمد بن محمد بن عبد اللَّه التجاني (١). بكسر الفوقانية والجيم المشددة، نسبة إلى قبيلة بالمغرب، كذا ذكر البقاعي، ويعرف بابن كحيل التونسي أخذ النحو عن أبي الحسن المعروف بابن سمعت والنطق والكلام عن الآبي والفقه عن القلشاني وأبي القاسم العبدوسي وأبي يوسف يعقوب الزغبي وأبي عبد اللَّه ابن مرزوق العجيسي وغيرهم، وألف في الفقه كتابًا سماه المقدمات في مجلد لطيف، وآخر في الوثائق العصرية، وفي التصوف سماه عون السائرين إلى الحق. ولد في ربيع الأول سنة اثنين وثمانمائة وتوفي سنة تسع وستين وثمانمائة -اهـ- من السخاوي. قال البقاعي: ولد بتونس.
