٨٧ - أحمد بن محمد الهنتاني أبو العباس (٢). شهر بالشماع، أحد تلامذة ابن عرفة. أخذ عنه الشيخ أبو زيد عبد الرحمن الثعالبي، وولي قضاء محلة السلطان أبي فارس، ووقع بينه وبين الحافظ البرزلي نزاع كبير في مسألة العقوبة بالمال هل هي جائزة باق حكمها أو منسوخة؟ ألّف كل واحد على صاحبه ووقع بينهما في ذلك هجو، عفا اللَّه عن الجميع، ونقل عنه في المعيار، ولم أقف على وفاته.
