    ٤ - إبراهيم بن أحمد بن الخطيب (٢). الفقيه الجليل النبيل الفاضل المتفنن أبو إسحاق، من أفاضل الحذاق ومن له الذهن الثاقب على الإطلاق، وله علم بالفقه وأصوله وأصول الدين، والنحو والمنطق والحكمة والتصوف، أنبه الطلبة مليح النظم أحسن الناستقييدًا. استخلف قبل أن يستكمل الأربعين، وقبل أن يظهر خزائن علمه من "عنوان الدراية في علماء بجاية" للشيخ القاضي أبي العباس أحمد الغبريني والد المفتي أبي القاسم.

    إبراهيم بن أحمد بن الخطيب، أبو اسحاق: فقيه مالكي، كان له علم بالنحو والمنطق وأصول الدين والحكمة والتصوف. من أهل بجاية. ذكره صاحب "عنوان الدراية" وقال: " كان أنبه الطلبة، وكان مليح النظم، اقتطف قبل ان يستكمل الأربعين، ولو بقي لظهر عليه من العلوم كثير ". وأورد له شيئا من نظمه. (١) الخطيب (القرن السابع الهجري / القرن الثالث عشر ميلادي)
