(٢) كان من الحفّاظ الكبار، وبقراءته سمع الجماعة كتاب أنساب قريش وأخبارها تأليف الزبير بن بكّار على [شيخ] المشايخ ظهير الدّين محمّد بن عبد الخالق الأنصاريّ بسماعه من أبي عليّ الحدّاد عن أبي طاهر بن عبد الرّحيم (٣) في شهر ربيع الأوّل سنة إحدى وثمانين وخمسمائة.
