(٢) من بيت الرّئاسة والتقدّم والحجبة وخدمة الخلفاء، وإلى والده ينسب الرّباط المعروف الآن بالبسطامي تجاه مسجد قمريّة، وكان الشيخ المؤتمن صدقة جليل القدر مطاع الأمر، سمع كتاب الاعتقاد والهداية الى سبيل الرشاد تصنيفالامام أبي بكر أحمد بن الحسين بن عليّ بن موسى البيهقي على الشيخ أبي عليّ إسماعيل بن أبي بكر أحمد بن الحسين بروايته عن والده المصنّف سمعه منه جماعة منهم ولداه أبو السعود محمّد وأبو منصور عبد العزيز سنة إحدى وأربعين وخمسمائة.
