٥٦٤٤ - المنصور أبو الطاهر إسماعيل بن القائم محمّد بن المهدي عبيد الله العلويّ الاسماعيليّ الخليفة بمصر. (١) مولده بالمهديّة سنة تسع وثلاثمائة وقيل أربع وثلاثمائة، وبويع له بالخلافة في شوّال سنة أربع وثلاثين وثلاثمائة، وكان بليغا فصيحا، ونزل بالمنصوريّة المنسوبة إليه واستوطنها سنة سبع وثلاثين، وهو الّذي كانت له الوقائع مع أبي يزيد مخلد الأباضي المعروف بصاحب الحمار، وظفر به في المحرّم سنة ستّ وثلاثين فمات أبو يزيد قبل أن يقتل فأمر بسلخه وحشو جلده قطنا وصلبه، وتوفّي المنصور يوم الجمعة سلخ شوّال سنة إحدى وأربعين وثلاثمائة ومدّة خلافته سبع سنين.
