٥٥٩٧ - منتجب الدّين أبو الفضل عثمان بن نجيب بن علي بن .... الخوافي الكاتب الصّوفي. (١) قدم بغداد في أيّام الصّاحب علاء الدّين عطا ملك بن محمّد الجويني وولي بها الأعمال الجليلة، رأيته لمّا قدمت مدينة السّلام سنة تسع وسبعين وستّمائة، وسمع معنا على شيخنا مجد الدّين أبي الفضل عبد الله بن محمود بن بلدجي، وكان قد ترك ما كان عليه من الأشغال، واشتغل بالقراءة والتزهّد، وكان حسن الأخلاق جميل السيرة، كتبت عنه.
