(١) ذكره الثعالبي في كتاب يتيمة الدّهر وقال: سمعت أبا نصر سهل بن المرزبان يقول: سمعت أنّ بعض أصحاب المنبسط أضافه ثمّ خلاّه وخرج وتركه في منزله فكتب إليه: يا خالي الجيب من عقل ومن أدب ... وإن تخلّيت من مال ومن نشب تركتني ومعي في البيت واحدة ... وأنت تعلم ما يجري على لقبي
