٥٥٠٢ - المكتفي أبو العبّاس الوليد بن القادر بصنع الله يزيد بن الموفّقعبد الملك الامويّ الخليفة بدمشق. (١) أمّه أمّ الحجّاج بنت محمّد بن يوسف بنت أخي الحجّاج بن يوسف، مولده سنة تسعين بويع له في شهر ربيع الأوّل سنة خمس وعشرين ومائة، وكانت خلافته سنة وشهرين وقتل في جمادى الآخرة سنة ستّ وعشرين ومائة وعمره ستّ وثلاثون سنة وقتل بالبخراء من تدمر على أميال وكان الّذي قتله ابن عمه الشاكر لله يزيد بن الوليد الّذي يقال له يزيد الناقص (٢)، وكان أبيض مشربا حمرة، وكان شرّيبا؛ له في الشراب أخبار لا تليق بهذا المختصر.
