٥٤٣٢ - المفضّل أبو العبّاس أحمد بن أبي البركات الحميريّ صاحب الصرعين. (١) كان ملكا جوادا فاضلا محبّا للعلماء، وقصده الأدباء من كلّ فجّ عميق، وممّن قصده ومدحه أبو المواهب عبد المحسن بن صدقة المعريّ (٢) [بقوله]: محبّ من البين المفرّق مشفق ... يكاد من التفريق في النوم يفرق إذا سجعت زرق الحمام خواليا ... شجاه وإن هوّمن فهو مؤرّق وليس عجيبا أن يبوح مقيّد ... إذا ما تغنّى في الأراك مطوّق أأحبابنا جرتم مع البين فاعدلوا ... وجرتم (٣) مدى هجرانكم فترفّقوا وهي طويلة، فأجازه بألف دينار.
