    ٥٣٠٢ - معين الدّين أبو اليمن ريحان بن عبد الله - يعرف بالشنبالي - الحبشيّ [الخادم] الخاصّ. كان من الخدم المقرّبين وعباد الله الصّالحين، سمع جامع الترمذيّ على شيخنا العدل العالم جمال الدّين أبي القاسم علي بن عبد العزيز بن محمود الأخضر (١) في جماعة من الخدّم الخوّاص منهم جمال الدّين جوهر ونور الدّين ريحان الفرحي، ومعين الدّين ريحان الشنبالي كان أوّلا لبدر الدّين أبي بكر عبيد الله بن شنبالا فانتقل إلى ملك الامام الظاهر بأمر الله، وكان جميل الصورة تامّ الخلقة ذا قرب من السدّة، وكانت وفاته في شهر ربيع الأوّل سنه إحدى وأربعين وستّمائة ودفن بباب حرب.
