٥٢٥١ - معلّم الكرم الجواد أبو جعفر عبد الله بن جعفر الطيّار بن أبي طالب الهاشميّ الجواد. (١) قد ذكرناه في كتاب الجيم [بلقب الجواد]، وله في الكرم حكايات مذكورة مشهورة، ذكره أبو عمر بن عبد البر في كتاب الاستيعاب وقال: ولدته أمّه أسماء بنت عميس بأرض الحبشة وقدم مع أبيه المدينة، وحفظ عن رسول الله ﷺ وروى عنه، توفّي بالمدينة سنة ثمانين، وكان يسمّى بحر الجود، ولم يكن في الاسلام أسخى منه، وكان لا يرى بسماع الغناء بأسا، وعوتب في جوده فقال: إنّ الله تعالى عوّدني عادة وأنا أخاف إن قطعتها قطعت عنّي.
