(٢) كان من القرّاء المجيدين وعباد الله الصّالحين، وكتب بخطّه الكثير واستفاد به، وأنشد:لا تأتينّ الأمر من وجهه ... فإنّه يعسر في كلّ باب وشاور الحمقى ولا تعصهم ... تلاق ما تهوى بعين الصّواب وجالس الأنذال تسعد بهم ... فإن هذا الدهر دهر انقلاب (١)
