(٢) كان من أعيان المتصوّفة ببلده، وله معرفة بأمور العلماء والمفسّرين والأذكياء، ومن شعره ما كتبه إلى بعض الرؤساء وهو في جماعة من الصوفية: الضيف مرتحل والمال عارية ... وإنما الناس في الدنيا أحاديث فلا تغرنّك الدنيا وكثرتها ... فإنها بعد أيّام مواريث وكلّ وارث مال عن أقاربه ... من نسل آدم يوما فهو موروث فاعمل لنفسك خيرا تلق نائله ... فالخير والشرّ بعد الموت مبثوث
