(٢) ذكره الرشيد ابن الزبير في كتاب جنان الجنان وقال: كان كاتبا وإليه إشراف وقوف جامع عمرو بن العاص، وكان له مجلس في الجامع لإقراء العربيّة وله من التصانيف شرح كتاب سيبوية. ومن شعره: لعلك عند قبا فالمطالي ... أرقت لزورة طيف الخيال منها: سقى الله أيّامنا الخاليات ... وليلاتنا الخاليات الخوالي اجشّ يعمّم شؤبوبه ... بمستأسد البنت صلع الجبال
