٤٩٢٦ - المزدلف عمرو بن أبي ربيعة بن ذهل الشيباني الأمير. (١) عمرو بن أبي ربيعة بن ذهل بن شيبان بن ثعلبة بن عكابة بن صعب ابن علي بن بكر بن وائل بن قاسط بن هنب بن أقصى بن دعمى بن جديلة ابن أسد ابن ربيعة بن نزار بن معد بن عدنان الربعي الشيباني، قال ابن الكلبي في كتاب جمهرة النسب: سمي المزدلف يوم قضة وهو يوم التحالق أو يوم أغار ابن الهبولة السليحي على عسكر آكل المرار فجعل عمرو يومئ برمحه وهو يقول: ازدلفوا قدر رمحي هذا، فسمي المزدلف، وأمّه هند بنت عامر بن مالك ابن تيم الله بن ثعلبة، وهي المعروفة بصائدة النعام.
