٤٨٧٩ - مربّي الأيتام أبو البرّ جعفر بن الحسن بن علوان البغداديّ الصوفي. ذكره ابن النجّار في تاريخه وقال: سمع أحمد بن أبي غالب ابن الطلاية، وروى لنا عنه عبد الله بن أحمد الخبّاز في مشيخته، وذكر لنا أنه كان شيخا صالحا يجمع الصدقات ويكسو بها الأيتام ولقّب بذلك السبب مربّي الأيتام. ومن كلامه في دعائه: اللهمّ إنّي أعوذ بك من حاجة إلاّ إليك ومن خوف إلاّ منك ومن طمع إلاّ فيما عندك.
