    ٤٨٧٧ - المذهب أبو الفضل العبّاس بن محمّد بن عبد الله بن العبّاس الهاشمي السخيّ. (١) ذكره أبو عبيد القاسم بن سلاّم في كتاب الأنساب قال: فولد عبد الله بن العبّاس [العبّاس] لا عقب له وعليا وعبيد الله والفضل ومحمّدا فولد محمّد بن عبد الله العبّاس وهو المذهب كان أجمل الناس وأسخاهم وامّه أمّ إبراهيم بنت المسور بن مخرمة لا عقب له، والمذهب هو الذي مدحه الأخطل فقضى عن الأخطل ألف دينار، وركب فرسا فصرعه فمات؛ لا عقب له.
