(٣)من البيت المعروف بالأدب والفضل والرئاسة، وقد ذكرنا منهم جماعة في هذا المجموع، وأصلهم من خراسان من نيسابور، ويعرفون ببيت الكرابيسي. وكان محيي الدّين المذكور رئيسا أديبا، حدّثنا عنه بدر الدّين محمّد بن إسماعيل المغربي، قال: سمعت والدي يقول سمعته ينشد: وللموت خير من حياة طويلة ... اردّ بها يوما إلى أرذل العمر
