٤٦٢٥ - محيي السنّة أبو محمّد الحسين بن مسعود بن محمّد الفرّاء البغوي المرورّوذيّ الفقيه المحدّث. (٣) كان من كبار الفقهاء المجتهدين تفقّه على القاضي الحسين المروالروذي (٤)ولازمه جميع عمره حتّى صار بحرا في العلوم الشرعيّة والأخبار النبويّة، وصنّف كتبا مفيدة منها كتاب معالم التنزيل وكتاب شرح السنّة وكتاب مشكل القرآن وكتاب التهذيب وكتاب المصابيح، وكان حسن السيرة كثير العبادة، مولده في جمادى الاولى سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وأربعمائة وتوفي سنة ستّ عشرة وخمسمائة، ودفن بمقبرة طالقان عند شيخه وقبره ظاهر يزار ويتبرّك به.
