(٢) من بيت العلم والفضل والرئاسة اشتغل وحصّل وانتقل من الشام إلىمصر ورتّب خطيبا بجامعها، ومن شعره: ما اسم اذا نصبته ... رفعت ما تنصب به ولا يتمّ رفعه ... إلاّ بجرّ سببه توفّي بمصر سنة ستّين وستّمائة.
