٣٩٦٤ - المتنبّي طليحة بن خويلد الأسديّ الفارس. (١) كان ممّن ارتدّ عن الاسلام وبعث إليه أبو بكر ﵁ خالد بن وليد في ثلاثة آلاف فارس إلى بزاخة (٢) وكان قد اتّبعه عيينة بن حصن (٣) فلمّا هزمه الله مرّ طليحة في مهربه على امرأة من بني أسد فضحكت منه، وقالت: أتفرّ وأنت نبيّ؟ فلم يجبها، ولحق طليحة بالشام، ثمّ قدم مسلما إلى المدينة فلم يعرض له أبو بكر وفي زمن عمر بعثه إلى نهاوند فاستشهد بها سنة إحدى وعشرين.
