٣٧٧٩ - كمال الدّين أبو البدر محمّد بن محمّد بن محمود ابن النجيب الواسطيّ المعدّل يعرف بالأحمر. كان من المعدّلين الأعلام وله سماع بواسط على ... كتب لي الإجازة بسعي المفيد جمال الدين أبي بكر أحمد بن علي القلانسيّ ورأيته ولم أكتب عنه شيئا. ذكره شيخنا العدل ظهير الدين عليّ بن محمّد بن الكازرونيّ في تاريخه وقال: توفّي ليلة الجمعة ثالث ذي الحجة سنة إحدى وثمانين وستّمائة، ودفن بمقابر قريش، ومولده سنة ثلاث وستّمائة.
