    ٣٤٩١ - كمال الدّين أبو العبّاس أحمد بن يوسف [بن محمد] ابن الزوال الهاشميّ العبّاسيّ النقيب. (٣)كان سيّدا جليلا، استحجب بالديوان، وتولّى نقابة العباسيّين، والنظر في أمورهم، والخطابة، في ذي الحجّة سنة ثمان وستّين وخمسمائة فكان على ولايته إلى أن عزل يوم عيد الفطر سنة خمس وسبعين ثم أعيد إلى ولايته ثاني ذي القعدة من السنة وهو اليوم الثاني من بيعة الناصر ثم عزله في صفر سنة ثلاث وثمانين، وذكر أبو نصر بن التلميذ يوما بحضرته، فقال: بديها: حمار يدّعى الحكم ... ة جهلا منه بالجهل خفيف الرأس والعقل ... ثقيل الروح والرجل وتوفّي في صفر سنة تسعين [وخمسمائة].
