٣٤٧٨ - كمال الدّين أبو العبّاس أحمد بن محمّد بن محمّد بن الضحّاك الأسديّالقرشيّ النيليّ البغداديّ الحاجب. (١) من بيت الرئاسة والتقدّم والتصرّف، وله نسب متّصل بالضحّاك بن عبد الله بن خالد بن حكيم بن حزام بن خويلد بن أسد بن عبد العزّى، اشتغل في صباه وتأدّب وكتب خطّا حسنا، وكان من أكابر حجّاب المناطق، وله نسب بالوزير مؤيّد الدين، ولم يل بعد الوقعة شيئا من الأعمال، وكان دمث الأخلاق جميل الصحبة حسن المحاورة في المحاضرة، كتبت عنه، وكان يتشبّه بالمغول في أحوالهم وأفعالهم، ومولده في رجب سنة إحدى وثلاثين وستّمائة، وتوفّي في سادس شهر ربيع الآخر سنة ثلاث وتسعين وستّمائة، وحمل إلى مشهد عليّ ﵇.
